The Art of Nyotaimori Dining

Flash Sushi is a unique supper club concept. It is the first, authentic Nyotaimori dining experience available in London and is now available in New York for a limited time. Nyotaimori roughly translates as ‘female body presentation’ and is the traditional, Japanese art of eating sushi off a naked female body. For centuries this rare and shadowy practice has been the sole preserve of Japan’s very elite, but in the spirit of gastro-egalitarianism has been brought to the paying public.

Flash Sushi can now offer a limited number of places to this unique experience in New York until September 2010, where the concept ends - returning from its flash of exposure back to the shadows of gastronomic folklore. Places are extremely limited and demand is high, so please be aware that your desired date may not be available, but we will always endeavor to work to your scheduling requirements.

To ensure absolute privacy, diners are invited to varying locations at different times of the month. Once you have a confirmed place(s) at the Flash Sushi table, the dinner’s location will be divulged 24 hours prior to the event (all locations are within Manhattan) via SMS message. You will join 12 to 24 other gastro thrill-seekers for a champagne reception before taking your seats around the communal dining table adorned with the stunning Hadaka models where an exquisite ten-course, seasonal Omakase sushi dinner will be prepared and served. Expertly chosen by our sommelier and bartender; champagne, wine, and spirits are all complimentary.

Guests will ONLY be informed of the location of the next Flash Sushi dinner once they have paid for their sitting in full at least one week in advance. These are private dinner parties in private venues and all costs must be prepaid. A place at the Flash Sushi table costs $500 per person including drinks and service.
